Oh, I didn't remember all that stuff. Maybe she was pumping in small amount of oxygen to keep her barely alive. Ok it makes sense now. :drunk: |

Mm-hmm. That's exactly what she did. She wanted Carly to live long enough that she could torment her via walkie-talkie from above ground. The coffin was outfitted with just enough oxygen and water to keep her alive for a few days. After that, she would run out of air and suffocate to death. The whole point was to make Carly's death as frightening, torturous and insufferably lingering as possible. Our twisted Viv is crafty like that, LoL. |

How did people figure out Carly was buried alive? |

Vivian had been taking a bunch of strange herbs that Dr. Wu was giving her. She was already a little twisted, but the herbs pushed her over the edge and that's what made her fearless enough to bury Carly alive in the first place. Over time, Vivian ran out of herbs (or perhaps Ivan simply stopped giving them to her?) and she realized what she had done. She confessed the truth to Lawrence and they were able to dig Carly up before she suffocated to death. However, the trauma of the situation caused Carly to develop amnesia. |

That makes two of us. ;) I've been saying all along that I want Vivian's revenge to be something twisted and lingering. Simple murder won't work. Lacing someone's drink with poison is too easy. It has to be something torturous and wicked. Meanwhile, Vivian did mention something about herbs to Victor the other day, believe it or not, LoL. My ears perked up immediately when she said it. |

Eh... I feel like it would be kind of a retread. There's no way they could top the original story, so why bother? Part of the reason the original story was so good was because of the dim, moody, gothic-esque lighting. It made the story all the more deliciously creepy. Nowadays, the show is so brightly lit (damn those vagina pink lights!) and the budget is so pitiful that a buried alive story wouldn't work as well. Plus, Carly would never let her daughter be buried without making sure ahead of time that she's really, most sincerely dead, LoL. I think the show should go another route. |

Speaking of lighting I was watching clips from November 2008 and amazed at hoq much better the show looked. They could fire the Hernandez family to help pay for better lighting lol. |

Uh oh... I'm seeing it too and I'm only half way through the episode. I'm not really sure what to think. I see it, but I don't want to see it, LoL. See, if they were going to go that route, Kate just should have been the kidnapper all along (with EJ). Dirtier and soapier. Whoever suggested Kate solves the mystery though, that's an interesting idea that I could get on board with. I feel like there's ick factor with EJ and Anna. I don't mind the cougar thing, I just don't think a lot of actresses can actually pull it off and make it hot. As for EJ being the mastermind, I like what I've seen so far. This is definitely giving him his chops back, and that was much-needed. With that said, I think this kills EJ and Sami for another year, Lol. Edited by cassie1013, Jan 10 2010, 01:48 AM.

Gina/Hope and EJ? I was saying that three years ago! I think that could be hot. I am totally yearning for the Gina days right now...who knows, might be a good time for some skanky art-thief antics with Bope's divorce. Also, she has a "huge" storyline coming up... There's still more I want to know with EJ/Anna, and I hope we get answers. Like, how did EJ figure out where Nicole was in Cleveland, etc. and also how pre-meditated the whole scheme was. We know Anna's getting money. I also want to know what EJ's end-game with this is. Is he going to play it off like some random took her, and bring Sydney "home" himself? (perhaps to look like the hero?). Revealing himself as the kidnapper as a big "F you" to everyone doesn't seem very EJ-ish, particularly because he'd basically be admitting to a crime. Maggie was quite moving in the Mickey scenes. She gave me chills at the beginning. Kristian Alfonso was really good, too. The only thing that took me out of the scene was when Hope called Gran and Gran answered her own phone. LOL, as if - I liked that they noted she was frail, but if this was the case, wouldn't she have a helper or someone answer the phone? Put me off a bit. I am wondering if they plan to kill Alice off soon with the frail comment. It's a bit much with Mickey's death... they really should have killed Alice off last year. Loved Bo and Justin's scenes. Typical Bo with the "you won my wife" comments, LoL. He's such an ass sometimes, jumping to conclusions and whatnot. Justin is coming off as swarmy though. I liked when Bo pointed out that even though Justin was convincing Hope to work on her marriage, he was also manipulating her with negative comments about Bo (or agreeing with her comments, which essentially goes against his advice to take him back). Vivian and Carly in the elevator was awesome, but didn't last nearly long enough. Louise Sourel is so engaging with her simultaneous creepiness and comedy. I found it a little contrived that Bo was there "just" as they were opening the elevator, but that's DAYS for you. The teens were actually interesting today. Mia and her manipulations have caught my attention...I actually don't mind Gabi, either. There's always going to be a "teen scene," so I'm trying to be a bit more open minded with this group now that I'm seeing potential. I just don't think Chad is a good fit with them, as it's obvious he's 21 IRL and everyone else is 16/17. Early 20's play teens on TV everyday, but it's not as noticeable when everyone is 21 (like in Gossip Girl or 90210). It really pissed me off when Anna said Marlena was the perfect mother, questioning how Sami turned out the way she did. Um, maybe because EJ's father took Sami's mother away from her for years?! I didn't mind the comment, but addressing the history between Stefano and Marlena shouldn't be ignored. Sami is the way she is partly because of Stefano's manipulations and how they affected her. I love how Bo and Carly can chill and have beer. That's so un-Hope, with her whole rich-girl Princess thing (which is kind of ironic as Carly supposedly is some sort of royalty). Carly's kind of like "one of the guys," which is something I like. Her huge boobs are soo distracting in scenes though, they look like they're weighing her down and also make her look puffy, Lol. And I think I downloaded just their scenes by some link in this thread for Monday, so I'm going to check those out.. |

Barly sex was sexy. The new porno music isn't nearly as bad as the old one, which was horrid and straight up embarrassing, lol. LMAO when Bo looked like he was taking it from behind though - his facial expression was hilarious! I think he was some work to do in the sex-scene department. She pretty much made the scene hot, until they hit the bed. |

Cassie you made me think, has he actually committed a crime? I'm not sure where he got to with Sami on formalising Sydney's custody & arrangements? If they haven't sorted that then won't he currently be Sydney's only legal guardian, as Sami won't have legal rights yet? Wonder if this is how they're going to get around Elvis having to don the orange jumpsuit? Maybe? |

The two new sets that showed this week looked soooo cheap. Days needs to dump some of the deadweight actors and work on the show's aesthetics. |

I thought it was very interesting that Anna apparently is doing this in order to get her inheritance from Tony. I mean, she skipped down out of grief instantly and I can see Stefano keeping it from her out of spite. Would have liked to see that on screen, though. Maggie/Hope was heartbreaking. Suzanne and Kristian have great chemistry as family members and Maggie's grief was so real and gritty. Carly/Vivian stuck in the elevator was not as delicious as I expected. It was over way too fast for my liking. |

I have to say if I were Anna, I would find it hard to trust EJ. He was the one who took over Tony's part in the familia, and saw to it that Tony was pushed out. EJ has been known to back out of business deals when dealing with women he knows he can get over on , remember how he stiffed Melanie for no other reason than he could. My opinion is that EJ is being written by the writers as a total dung heap now. Please note, I said written by the writers NOW. I happen to have happy memories of an EJ once upon a time who seemed to be the right choice for Sami. Not that I like Rafe much either, my wish is that Brandon comes back to make amends. |
